The RUPES LHR15 Mark III has taken on the successful elements of the original 'BigFoot' machine and improved upon them. This new version offers a larger motor, improving efficiency by up to 30% over the original model. The result is shorter working times and more uniform polishing results even on contoured surfaces. The all new Mark III machines feature refined motor designs and case modifications for increased performance and practicability. RUPES increased the power and torque output of the LHR 15 machine (2500 RPM compared to the original LHR15’s 2000) while decreasing vibration and energy use. Compared to its predecessor, the RUPES LHR 15 Mark III BigFoot Polisher delivers 30% more torque from the same 500W motor. The new machine will not bog down or stop working on dramatic curves or concave surfaces, providing improved correction power and reduced work time.

Improved Design Ergonomics

Attention to detail is something more than just attractive design. Subtle design refinements like the addition of a top-mounted rubber support allows users to lay the machine down pad up and avoid contaminating either the buffing pad or the painted surface you’re working on. Rubber-inserts have be added to improve handling and provide a better level of comfort while in use. The perfect balance of the components makes polishing for longer more comfortable and vibration-free.

The RUPES LHR15 Big Foot Mark III Random Orbital Polisher gets its name from its 15mm orbit. Consider this: a conventional random orbital polisher has an orbit between 4 and 8mm. The advantage of a larger throw is that more surface area is being covered as you polish. This means you’ll be able to remove swirls, scratches, water spots and other paint defects in considerably less time.

The polisher ensures a perfect finish with its random orbital motion and exceptionally large throw. One of the biggest advantages of the LHR 15 is that no swirls or holograms are instilled into the paint as you polish. A conventional rotary/circular polisher, while very effective at polishing paint to remove defects, leaves swirls and holograms in the finish as a result of its direct drive, circular motion.
