Hey guys!! Just went to reach out and thank Matt so much for the recommendation on the Paint Shaver! Were a small family owned painting and decorating company in Hawkes Bay and used it for the first time today to strip a weatherboard home and what would’ve taken 10 hours took only 1 to get this much removed!! Once again amazing product!!

A client commissioned me to strip back 10 Rimu dining room chairs, (I do not like chemical stripping) so I ordered the Smirdex velcro specifically for this job, I was hoping it would give me the flexibility I needed for the tight spaces I was working with without cracking/creasing like some traditional sandpapers do.

I was not disappointed great product and the Velcro allowed me to make makeshift sanding pads.

Highly recommend.

Easy to use and clear instructions great for diy projects

For a longtime I have tried to use used sanding disks effectively these blocks are perfect, I have one for the 120 grit and one with 220 also a bonus they are comfortable to use.

This purchase was replacement for a long-owned set of muffs - identical brand, Db rating, colour, design and materials. The head band on the old pair snapped, but as they had been worn for so many years I wasn't too surprised.

The adjustable head band is very useful, padding around the ears makes for comfort, keeps the ears dry in rain and noise reduction is very discernable. A downside is the colour - black and green, which can make it hard to locate the muffs if, e.g. scrub cutting in bush.

Would I buy again? Yes, I just have.

Quick and easy

Used to sand back my poor attempt at plastering. Makes me look way more competent than I actually am, and there's little to no dust. Great product.
Need to be careful with the vacuum though. The plaster dust is really fine and will block the filters quickly.
